Need help building your nest egg? Our Saver's Certificate can help by paying you the highest yielding savings interest rate available at the Credit Union. Open a new Saver's CD with as little as $10. To help encourage savings, you will be required to make a monthly deposit of at least $10. You can have as many Saver's CDs as you like, up to a maximum dollar amount of $10,000. If you don't make a monthly deposit, the interest rate will be reduced by .50%. Only one rate reduction can ever occur within the term of a certificate.
Your accounts with Utah Power Credit Union are insured for at least $250,000 by the NCUA, a Federal Government Agency. Depending on the ownership structure of your accounts you may be insured for more than $250,000.
